Smell Therapy

Restore Your Ability to Smell with Smell Therapy

The ability to smell is both practical and aesthetic. It allows us to enjoy the food we eat and scents in nature, and warns us of something dangerous.  Unlike other cranial nerves, our olfactory nerves are exposed directly to the outside, making them more vulnerable.

Perhaps you lost your sense of smell (olfactory loss) as an effect of Covid. Olfactory impairment can also be caused by sinus surgery, allergies, infection, toxic chemicals, a cold, or flu. Fortunately, olfactory nerves have the unique ability to regenerate. Recent experiments with smell therapy have demonstrated that by stimulating your olfactory nerves, you can regenerate them. Smell therapy encourages your brain to reconnect to your nerve cells and reactivates them.

As a qualified Aroma Therapist, I can devise a Smell Therapy program to fit your needs. If you have medical concerns, I encourage you to work with a doctor of otolaryngology (ENT) before participating. Please contact me if you would like to learn more about the program.
